LAUNCHXL-F28379D: Jumper JP4 and JP5 configure

Hi Great Team ,

I have to plug a 20 pin connector IDC on the J5 /J7, but it is impossible for the thick jumper on JP5 and JP4 (they are too thick) . If I remove both jumper I can insert the 20 PIN connector IDC on the J5/J7.

My question is: "If I remove both jumper there may be problems? My software will work the same way as when the two jumper are inserted? (My software use 8PWM module, 4ADC module, 2SPI module, PIN 3.3V and PIN GND of J1/J3 and J5/J7 to supply two external modules).

JP5 and JP4 are respectively "Connects target MCU 3.3 V to second set of BoosterPack headers" and "Connects target MCU 5 V to second set of BoosterPack headers".

Does your Booster Pack board require the voltages provided by the jumpers?

You may be able to replace the jumpers with a wire wrap connection.

The schematic here is quite simple. You can remove the header If you require additional space. However, if you still require the +3.3V and +5V on site 2, you will need to come up with a way to short them together. You can do as programmableSolution recommends or just add a solder bridge if you don't anticipate ever not connecting power.

I'm sorry if I answer only now but I was sick.
I didn't understand that by removing the jumper I removed only tensions from the 3.3V and 5V pins, so I solved it by simply adding a solder bridge.
