F28M35H52C: Uart logging from both M3 and C28 ?

Hello,

I am able to log debug information via UART1 on the M3 side (based on uart_echo example).

I would like to do the same on the C28 side using the same UART1 interface... What would be the best strategy/technique to achieve that ?

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

My suggestion would be to share the variables from C28x to M3 side for data logging. You can refer the CtoM example code.

This solution sounds good. And so I supposed there is a way to interrupt (no polling) the M3 to let it know a message has to be processed ?

Ril,

you can also check the SERPLOOP feature on Concerto, SCIA on C28x can be looped back to UART4 on M3 in HW and you can have SW on M3 moving data from UART4 to UART1.
