Dears,

I am now using TMS320F28034. When I am doing code programming. Sometimes I cannot put my code into TMS320F28034 using JTAG port.

I think it's not connection error because after I programming code by serial port, JTAG port can work well.

Moreover, sometimes, 1155 error happened.

Zhengqing,

Are you able to communicate with the MCU using JTAG immediately after Reset? Are you by any chance trying to load code into a secure location?

This JTAG error happened randomly. I got 10pcs currently, 5 of these occurred this problem.
When I am doing JTAG programming, sometimes 2083 error happened. Then I load code to serial port and re-up electricity, JTAG can work correctly. Then after a few times, this error happened.
The simulator I use is XDS200

Zhenquing,

Since at least some of your boards are running fine without JTAG errors I suspect that you may have a board problem. Typically Flash programming consumes a lot of current - please check your power supply and the de-coupling capacitors on your board against the datasheet requirements. You may also try to use an external power source (if your board provides this option) to see if this condition goes away. Also please make sure that your Code Security Module is disabled while programming Flash.
