How compatible are are the hardware registers?

    There's no official documentation on the above migration. Majority of the registers are very similar and the migration is very smooth.

    Please see the following document which should help give some information on the peripheral changes.  This does not take into account any changes in 'System Control'.  (unfortunately, note that the most recent F28004x family has not yet been added to this document)

    We don't have a very clean document describing this specific migration path. 

    CAN & ADC are likely the two biggest peripheral changes - in addition to some of the changes in connectivity between the peripherals (like the addition of more configurability with the addition of the INPUTXBAR & EPWMXBAR).  For most of the peripherals (and your software) there is quite a bit of commonality though.
