TMS320F28035: Looking for alternative with more memory

Hi team,

I'm currently working with TMS320F28035 and am running out of RAM. I'm looking for an alternative with the following requirements...

SYS CLK	>= 60MHz
RAM	>= 56KB
Flash	>= 128KB
CLA	Yes
FPU	Yes
GPIO	34
PWM Channels (A,B)	6
I2C	1
SCI	2
Timer	3
Watchdog	1
ADC Channels	12

It looks like TMS320F28069 is a good match--is there anything else you would recommend, or is this the best option?

Brian,

Depending on how far you have got with the design. If it's a migration from an existing design, F28069 would be a straightforward change. There is a migration document here:

If it is a new board you may want to look at the F28075 device, which is a newer Piccolo class device with improved performance.

There is a new device series F28004x
TMS320F280049
would meet all the needs. This part will start volume production in January in the 64-pin package.
