TMS320F28379D: malloc is not in control

Hi,

We use Function 'malloc' of stdlib ,when the fisrt run, the program will be not in control.

After reset CPU, the program could run.

Dou you have any experience on this issue, could you help to give some suggestion?

Update question describe:
When the first time call malloc(), the program will run into a illegle interrupt.
After reset CPU, the program could run.

Hi Walsh,

The memory for malloc calls is in .esysmem, an uninitialized section that should be linked into RAM. So just to confirm, is the .esysmem linked into RAM based on your project’s linker command file?
