F28035 CLA proram and ram regions

Hello,

I'm using F28035 MCU for a motor control project. It is an industrial application, so parasites must be considered.

Some CPU registers are eallow protected for spurious writes. Does CLA ram and program memory regions have a protection like this. Or is it not necessary because CPU can't write to this regions when they are mapped to CLA

What motor type are you trying to spin using the CLA?

The Eallow protection is for registers only, the registers that are accessible by the CLA and are Eallow Protected use a MEALLOW instruction,

The Data RAM and Program RAM once mapped to CLA cannot be accessed by the CPU, hence no need for eallow.

Hello Manish,

I'm using a three phase 1HP induction motor. I asked this question because forexample for parasitic regions i sometimes have to refresh ram. A spurious write to the ram is corrected by this way. I think EALLOW prevents this like problems.

For CLA RAM and program memory is mapping it to CLA sufficient for preventing it from spurious writes or etc.
