RTOS/TMS320F28075: TI RTOS

Part Number: TMS320F28075

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hi everyone, can someone point me to the TI RTOS for the TMS320F28075 processor? I am using CCS v7 and I couldnt find TI RTOS for this processor using Resource Explorer.

Thanks

  • Hi Dennis,

We only have a full TI-RTOS for the Concerto devices (for the C2000 family) and then only RTOS aware drivers on the M3 side of the device. For non-Concerto users (e.g. you), we recommend you just get SYS/BIOS (the kernel in TI-RTOS). While both TI-RTOS for C2000 and SYS/BIOS both support the F28075, only the SYS/BIOS product has examples in it for that device.

Here is the download site: software-dl.ti.com/.../index.html

  • Thank you.
I have downloaded the latest SYS/BIOS and XDC for the F28075 and ccs v7. Then from ccs v7, I create a new CCS project, and select the 28075 processor. Then I select a Typical SYS/BIOS template. But then when I click on Finish in the dialog box, it says there is a problem with the path 'resources/c28/include/tms320F28075.cmd'.
Do you have any pdf file that shows how to create a sample SYS/BIOS project in ccs v7 for this processor?

    Thanks
  • Something smells fishy. Did you install SYS/BIOS in c:\ti? Did CCS locate it and ask you to restart?  Can you try using Resource Explorer and select a kernel example that way and see if it builds properly. For example

  • Disregard, I got it resolved. Thanks a lot.
