TMS320F28335: Problem with flashing via c2prog

Hi,

I've got a problem with flashing 28335 via serial and C2prog.

We have order microcontrollers that have marking TMS320F28335PGFA-G4A and we cannot flash them using c2prog.

We use standard procedure of flasing. It starts correctly. Bootloading is OK, Chip identification, unlocking and flash API 210 are OK. Erasing is OK, but after that programing fails. We have try on three PCBs with G4A.

Previously we used TMS320F28335PGFA-CA and there was no problem with flashing. There were no changes in PCB, therefore I think that marking G4A and CA can be important,

What is difference between G4A and CA marking? I cannot find it in datasheet.

Hi Janusz,

Are you getting any particular error while programming those devices using C2Prog? Is it something like a timeout error?

OK.

Is there more detail log in C2prog?

Problem is solved. There was mistake during pcb mounting. Wrong capacitors were installed around MAX232I (1nF instead 1uF). Wrong reel was installed on the pcb machine. I didn't see it on Friday. Now everything works correct.
