TMDSPLCKITV4-CEN: Typical performance and robustness of communication

Hello Team,

Posting on behalf of my customer regarding the TMDSPLCKITV4-CEN performance in real-world use cases:

What is the robustness of the isolation circuitry which directly connects to the power line?  Voltage rating and Cat II standards?

Questions regarding the G3 Cenelec communication Standard.

The SW sending, receiving, and handshaking between kits takes 500msec.

a. Can the communication timing be significantly reduced?

b. Is the TMS320f2808 digital Signal Processor configurable?

2.  Robustness of the communication packets;

a. Importance of ‘zero crossing’ detection in minimizing loss communication packets?

b. CRC checking?

c. Baud rates?

3.  How to Address modules when >2 in the system?

4. Is there an automated reconnection algorithm between the modules during faults or dropped packets?
