Hi, below is the PWM structure of TIDM1000. I wonder if I can combine phase 2 and 4 together by turning on and off both mosfets at the same time. It will result in higher efficiency since Rdson is smaller in MOSFET than the diode, and we can use only 3 PWM pins of C2000 instead of 3 pairs.

    Yes, that is a possibility, we wanted the user to have the flexibility in case they are using a device with different characteristics where switching losses might be higher or reverse current flow cannot occur. Hence the design routes both the signals separately. However, in the switching scheme, they are driven together
