Hi,

I need to known the basic tools for start the progremmation of the piccolo microcontroller TMS320F28035. A few days ago I decide to buy the XDS110 debug prove but this prove debug there are not existence. So I need to buy the basic tools for the programmation of the device. I don´t need any evaluation tool, because I have experience in the use of this kind of the control devices, and I´m sure that this microcontroller is it I need for my application. I will develop an board application specific. Therefore I need programm to the microcontroller in stand alone way.

    As long as you follow the DS recommendation for how the JTAG pins should be configured, you should be able to connect a debug probe to your custom board:

    Now for the JTAG connector, you might download C2000Ware and take a look at the schematic and BOM of the ControlCard docking station:

    Note that things will be much easier if you buy the ControlCard + Docking station and get up and running with the external JTAG emulator first. Then late you can switch to the custom board you designed.
