TMS320F280049: Reset (XRSn) Switching Characteristics

Hello, 

Reset(XRSn) Switching Characteristics is specified as tw(RSL1) = 100us(Typ). Is there max spec for this parameter?

My customer use external reset device, and considering to have a longer reset assert time than  tw(RSL1), so need to know the max spec.

    Hi Furuya,

    As long as customer can maintain 100us or above on the Reset(XRSn) they are fine. The limiting factor will be the Min parameter, Max value can be anything, since you can assert reset anytime after 100us the Supplies are stable.

    Sorry, customer want to know the mim spec which should keep the asserting XRSn.

    Hi Furuya,

    We only spec Typical numbers for tw(RSL1), this parameter is not characterized so we do not set any minimum spec limit. Typical numbers come from design simulation, so please use 100us as the minimum number because below that it is not guaranteed.

    Internal Oscillator start up time is comprehended in 100us, so no need to add any extra delay for INTOSC to be stable. If you look at table “INTOSC Characteristics” it mentions requirement of 20us which should already comprehended in the 100us requirement.
