LAUNCHXL-F28069M: Changing TMS clock

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28069M

Dear All

   How much time takes to stabilize the TMS clock after a change of PLLCR and PLLSTS (InitPLL(PLLCR,PLLSTS) from F2806x_SysCtrl.c)?

InitPll(18,2); to InitPll(6,2);

Thanks

  • Hello.

    See your other thread on why TMS is not appropriate for this situation. It is very confusing as TMS is a signal name in the JTAG circuit. (e2e.ti.com/.../2345340

    We do not specify the time that it takes to stabilize and lock the PLL. You need to monitor the PLLSTS.PLLLOCKS bit after modifying the PLL configuration. This bit indicates that the PLL has locked to the new specified frequency.

    Thanks,
    Mark
