Hi Champs,
My customer found their brand new F2802 cannot be programmed with the follow console information. The failure rate is about 3/1000.
The programming tools are XDS560(by 3rd party called SEED) and CCS3.3. The device cannot be recovered using Uniflash Depletion Recovery.

The checksum of failure device is as follows. Looks the device is never programmed.
Would you kindly help to comment the root cause of the failure?
Thanks.

Young,
I doubt it will help but... could you ask the customer to try another emulator?
Regards,
Cody
Young,
Are you sure these parts weren't erased / programmed before? The parts you receive from TI shouldn't be depleted.
Where did you get these parts from?
-Manoj
Young,
I don't get what you mean by "new fabricated PCBA". I just want to know whether this is virgin part received as it is from TI (or) was the part ever erased / programmed?
Regards,
Manoj
Young,
Okay. We would like to know the LTC (Lot Trace Code) information. Can you send a close up photo of the device? Where did the customer get these parts? From any distributor?
Regards,
Manoj
