TMS320F28069: Question about XNMI

Part Number: TMS320F28069
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28335

Hi all,

I want to know about XNMI.

TMS320F28335 has an XNMI, but Piccolo devices does not have XNMI.

Why was this XNMI deleted?

Is there a function to replace this?

My customer wants to use GPIO's NMI interrupt at Piccolo.

Best regards,

Sasaki

  • Sasaki-san,
You are correct that XNMI has been removed in Piccolo. The interrupts block for Piccolo was revised to improve support for erroneous conditions. The NMI interrupt has been modified to cater to erroneous conditions, such as clock failures. Piccolo has support for XINT1/XINT2/XINT3.
