Hi,

My customer asks:

we are having a bit of a problem at the moment. We are unable to put a bootloader on boards. A few years ago TI created an OTP_PATCH that allowed us to boot from an EEPROM that was located on the second I2C bus. I am hoping that you have seen this issue before.

Target Processor: TMS320F28069

Uniflash Programmer: XDS100v2

Uniflash Version: 3.4.1 (also happens on older versions of Uniflash)

We think that this is a settings issue in the UniFlash because one colleague is able to program the boards. Unfortunately, we cannot find the difference in our settings. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Based on the error snapshot, the address at which UniFlash is failing to program is USER OTP address (0x3D7800). As you know, you can program OTP only once. OTP can not be erased. Can you check if you are trying to program the already programmed OTP? Please open a CCS memory window for this address and check whether it is in erased state or not.

Did the customer already check whether device is locked? If so, have them unlock the device before trying to program USR OTP as it is secure memory.
