TMS320F28379D: How to get USB Bulk device example code working with Win7 host

Hi,

I am trying to run the example usb_dev_bulk on Win7 and after building the file "afxwin.h" is not found. Does this have something to do with the installation of USB driver as i am trying this out using Launchpad of TMS320F28379D and connecting launchpad with PC using FTDI emulation. I tried to install "usb_dev_bulk.inf" from device manager but with no success.

    Hi Johann,

    The F2837x Launchpad does not have a USB PHY connected to the USB module on the device. The mini-USB connector on the Launchpad is only used for JTAG (debugger) and SCI communication. Both of these go through the FTDI chip.

    You will need to purchase a control CARD for a device with a USB connector connected to the USB PHY on chip, our you will need to connect your USB communication to GPIO pins 42 and 43. I am not sure if they are pinned out on that board, but you can look and give it a try.
