How HrPWM works (in depth)?

I simulate the Piccolo HrPWM rev.1 (spruge8d.pdf) and have some questions:

1) CMPAHR controls the duty by counting of precise extra mep steps, PRDHR controls the period by the same manner... How TBPHSHR works? Is its value loaded into the internal mep counter during SYNC signal occures or its value will be the maximum value the internal mep counter counts for?

2) HRCNFG.EDGMODE selects the controlled edge: 01b - MEP control of rising edge (CMPAHR), 10b - MEP control of falling edge (CMPAHR)... If CMPAHR controls the duty, so it controls the falling edge, isn't it? So, what is the raising edge? and is PRDHR active for these combinations?
