Is the PWR CTL GPIO necessary to successfully use the EnDat Library on the C2000 F2837XD.
The IDDK Board is using this pin to enable and disable the Power-Connection to the Encoder.
Since we want to develop a very cheap Hardware for the Encoder-Interface we would like to spare this function to reduce the number of needed ICs.
Will the library still work if we don't use the PWR CTL and just connect the Encoder directly to 5V ?
