TMS320F28069M: Not showing up properly as device

Hi there,

I'm trying to connect a TMS320F28069M Launchpad to my Windows 10 laptop.
However, it seems the driver is not working properly.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers in the COMport section as well as the USB controllers section of the device manager, but it didn't help.
It just shows up as a USB device that I can not do anything with.

In the settings, this shows up, but as can be seen, there are no options except to remove the device.

Does anyone know what is going on here/what I can do to fix it? Any help is really appreciated.

How did you reach to this conclusion? Do you get any error while debugging?

This is the error I get when starting debug mode: "Can't Initialize Target CPU: Failed to open COM65 at 9600 baud: open: The system cannot find the file specified"

I figured it was the driver because it doesn't show up as a COM port device on the device manager, only as a generic USB Composite Device.
