I am using the Code compress studio 6.2.0.50

In general window the output format is shows as disable .

I am trying to debug the code but the output format is not shown as elf format.

Could you please help me on it.

There are two issues here. The first is that version of the compiler (15.12.3 LTS) does not support ELF. The second is the project manager for your version of CCS (6.2.0) also does not support ELF for C2000. It is recommended to update your version of CCS to the latest (CCSv7.3.0) as that version supports ELF for C2000 and comes with a compiler version that supports ELF (16.9.4).

Note that there is a CCSv7.4.0 release coming next week if you wish to wait for that

Hi Ram,
If you have moved to CCSv7 and asking how to get started with debug using CCS, I suggest talking a look at the below CCS workshop for C2000. While the device being used is different than you device, the concepts are the same and should help get you started:
