TMS320F28379D: Parsing UART sensor on CLA, which interrupt to use?

Hi,

I want to place a parsing algorithm for a UART sensor. I want this task on the CLA. I see that several interrupts are allowed to be assigned to CLA1TASKSRCSEL1.bit.TASK1. But none of them seem relevant for the UART/SCI. Am I missing something here?

Hi,

CLA does not have access to UART/SCI module hence you do not see the interrupt assigned to CLA for this IP.

Please refer the "Figure 19-1. SCI CPU Interface" of device TRM for the same.

Additionally, you may wish to trigger a C28x interrupt which then triggers the CLA Task via software. This will be slower, but it is a way to put the task on the CLA.
