RTOS/TMS320F28069: SYS/BIOS When i set second timer , program failing. "No available timers" ???

In my program i want to use second timer. When i config 2nd timer, program fails.

"No available timer". How can i configure my program for setting 2 timer. How many timers can i use in my program ?

What is the limit of timer ?

Or Should i use clock module? Or Can timers share cpu timers?

I am using TMS320F28069.

Hi Ibrahim,

Can you include the code you have to create the second timer? Can you look at Tools->ROV->Timer to see what timers are currently configured.

The limit is device dependent. By default the kernel grabs one timer to drive timing actions (e.g. Task_sleep). The default period of this timer is 1ms. If have an action that has 1ms granularity, you can use the Clock module instead of using a second timer.
