F28M35H52C: Port pin PA6 is not working on F28M35H52C Control Card with 100mm dim

Hello,

I am working on concerto control card, on which i am using PWM4. for that i have written code  in which PWM4A output is mapped on PA6 pin and PWM4B output is mapped on PA7 pin.

Out of these two pins i am getting proper pwm frequency signals on only PA7 pin and PA6 pin remains low. Not getting the reason why it remains low..

After that i configured PA6 and PA7 as GPIO output and toggled both pins. But in this situation also PA6 remains low, PA7 is toggled properly.

So my question  is whether this particular pin is used for something else on control card, or is it available as it on 100mm Docking station.

    Sandeep,

    it looks like what you have done should be OK. Please confirm my understanding: you are connecting a TMDSCNCD28M36 to a TMDSADAP180TO100 then to a DIMM 100 dock from an older kit?

    If the above is true ePWM4A should connect through the following path

    PA6_GPIO6->MCU_GPIO-06->pin "54" of the HSEC connector->GPIO-06->Pin19 of header J5 on the dock.

    This information was pulled from the following files...(all files are in control suite)

    This would suggest that your configuration is likely incorrect. Try reading back the registers you have written, this should point out what is not getting written. Often times an EALLOW is forgotten. With this device you should also check which core has been assigned what resources.

    Hi Sandeep,

    Based on your question, I'm assuming you are using the F28M35x cCARD with the DIMM100 docking station.

    If so, I'd first recommend referring to the controlCARD schematics & infosheet within controlSUITE:
    \controlSUITE\development_kits\~controlCARDs\CCF28M35xxHWdevPkg_v3\

    Note the connectivity headers (J8-J19 in the schematic).  For GPIO6's PWM to make it to the baseboard, you will need to make sure the relevant header's jumper is placed.  PA6_GPIO6 to C28_GPIO6
