sir,

For a Project, i am selected TMS320F28075PZPQ(Piccolo Micro controller) as controller.

but

In product page TMS320F28075PZPQ(Piccolo Micro controller) , it shows experimental kit TMDXDOCK28075 (including control card) is no longer manufactured by TI and suggests use TMDSDOCK28379D that is dedicated to TMS320F28377D (Delfino Micro controller).

so that , my question is,

Is above controller TMS320F28377D (Delfino Micro controller) and TMS320F28075PZPQ(Piccolo Micro controller) are in firmware view are same? since it has dual core

which means if i write program code forTMS320F28377D (Delfino Micro controller), that work with TMS320F28075PZPQ(Piccolo Micro controller)?

if yes what are the main changes in firmware view.

Hi,

The F28379D is a functional superset of the F28075 device. These families were designed at the same time and therefore the code is nearly identical. If you look at the code examples between the two families within C2000Ware you can verify this to some extent.

The main thing you'll need to do is make sure that you don't utilize any of the features that are on the F28379D (but not on the F28075), and utilize the device like a F28075.

any third party experimental kit of TMS320F28075 is available for buy.?.
if i get correct part then design will be easy for me

Hi,

I am not aware of any 3rd party evaluation kits for the 'F2807x family, specifically.

As mentioned, porting from F2837xD to F2807x should be straightforward. And there won't be much that is learned on the F2837xD that won't also be helpful for a F2807x project.
