Hello. I'm designing a custom circuit board that contains a TMS320F28027F and I want to make sure I get the correct JTAG debugger.

I was initially looking at this one: http://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSEMU110-U,

Will this debugger function as a drop in replacement?

Here are 2 links for TI emulators that will work with C2000 devices including the TMS320F28027:

The XDS110 should be adequate for most type of debugging, the faster (and more expensive) XDS200 is recommended if you doing a lot of flash programming (which can be time consuming).

Thanks for the reply, but will the olimex version work with CCS as well?

It's a third of the price.

The Olimex versions should work with CCS as well.
