Part Number: TMS320F28PLC84
We have had good results communicating between service nodes and one mini-DC on the low voltage side inside a building - 110V for the nodes with the DC connected to both lines on the electrical panel. However, we have been unable to cross the medium voltage transformer to connect to service nodes connected on the Low voltage side of a second medium voltage transformer located less than 500 feet away. We are using the PLC84 chipset in the CENELEC B band with V7.7.7.6 firmware for the service nodes and the mini-dc firmware for the data concentrator.
Questions:
1) Are there any parameters that we could optimize to achieve communications across the medium voltage transformer. We have gain set to 7 and AGC set to 0. We are using ROBO mode.
2) Are there any test results showing LV to MV propagation with distances achieved and typical signal loss?
Thanks
