F28M35H52C: FreeRTOS example for concerto F28M35H52C

I cam across a TI e2e post from 2012 where user mentioned that he used a TI provided example which targeted Power Line Communication and uses the IPC to transfer data between the M3 and the C28.

The user mentions that this example included FreeRTOS on M3 side and TI-RTOS on C28 side. This made me wonder where did he find this example from, as i am trying to port FreeRTOS on M3 core this example will open a whole new dimension for me !!

Can any of you TI engineers help me locate this example online ? Because i did not find it on ControlSuite !! Below is the link to the post.

Hi Gautam,

I have come across this port before and this is specifically targeting C28 core on Concerto devices.

But i am looking specifically for this TI example that exist out somewhere ! Which happens to have FreeRTOS port for M3 ?

Do you know about this example ?

I'm not familiar with this example myself, but I've reached out to some colleagues who are more familiar with our PLC software to see if they know of it. I'll let you know what I find out.

Hello,

I did some searching and asking around and did not find anything of this description unfortunately. Some of the PLC examples (which are available on TI.com separate from controlSUITE) referred to SYSBIOS, but I didn't see anything about FreeRTOS.

Have you tried searching for FreeRTOS implementations for other TI M3-based MCUs? They should be a decent starting point as the hardware is pretty similar.
