My customer needs fastest communication interface between two TMS320F28377S.

Can you suggest which way is the fastest way and how to implement it.

Zhou,

USB is the fastest way to communicate from F2837x device. But in this device USB doesnt have DMA support so you need to rely on CPU.

The data rate we have seen is roughly 7-8Mbps with USB and CPU master.

Hi Hardy,

One option can be uPP interface which is a high speed parallel interface and is clocked at 50MHz in SDR mode. Refer uPP C2000Ware examples for interfacing two TMS320F28377S through it.

uPP and USB interfaces are the two options, and pls help check if EMIF could be used for this kind of application, thanks

EMIF cannot be used for this because it's only master interface. Also I would not recommend using uPP because this IP will not be supported on next gen C2000 devices. SPI can be another option to use. SPI can operate at 50MHz on this device.
