After talking with customer support, I was told I had to post to this forum to proceed in inquiring about returns/exchanges for a TMDSSOLARPEXPKIT-Piccolo-based Solar Explorer Development Kit I purchased that appears to be defective. This is not the first Solar Explorer Kit that I have acquired, and I have gotten the others to work, i.e. upload project files from CCS into them to turn on the lightbulb coupled to the inverter output, and run the sample GUI.
The latest kit I ordered (order number 1696294), however, fails to work. I took the board out of its packaging, connected the banana jacks and jumpers in the exact same configuration as my other working kit, and run the sample GUI, and nothing happens. Also, when trying to upload sample projects into the kit's processor in CCS, the same thing happens. One board I have does everything fine, and when I follow the exact same steps in uploading the sample project to the new kit, CCS cannot upload the code to the processor.
I would very much like to exchange this kit for a new one that works; please let me know what needs to be done to make this happen.
