CCS/TMS320F28377S: Getting Started with Delfino Board (What is the best workflow with C2000Ware?)

Part Number: TMS320F28377S
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi all,

I am new to the forum, so, any help would be super helpful.

Basically, I just got myself a LAUNCHXL-F28377S Delfino board and I am not sure what is the best workflow to get a project running.

I am coming from Cypress's PSoC4 environment and I know setting up any peripheral can be done easily using the fantastic GUI-based tools.

Is there any equivalent to this in CCS?

I managed to run a few example codes from the C2000Ware, but, I am still not sure to start a new project on my own.

For example, to blink an LED, I know that I need to initialise the CPU and the GPIO, but, I am not sure what are files to include and copy from the C2000Ware to my project folder (e.g. delay, etc.).

In other words, I need a step-by-step guide to make my own CCS project using the C2000Ware.

I tried my best to find a decent getting started guide, but I failed. I did find several long documentation, but, I prefer something that is straightforward for a beginner like me to understand.

Any advice will be highly appreciated, thanks!
