TIDM-1000: Boost Inductor Clarification

Hi,

I'm just wondering if there is some detail on the boost inductors L2,L4,L5 in the reference design. They are 53PR116-292 by Vitec according to the BOM. tiducj0c.pdf details how to size the inductor with the input ripple being the user specified parameter. I see a reference to the inductor being 3mH on page 18 but I'm not sure if this is the same as the fitted inductors on the EVM.

    We have the datasheet of the inductors in the controlSUITE package,

    C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\tidm_1000\v1_01_00_00\hardware\magnetics_datasheet

    We do not have the core/ wire information as we did not do the magnetics design itself. That was done by Vitec.

    The fitted part should match the BOM part, is there a specific reason for suspicion?

    Thanks Manish, I didn't think to look in the contol suite folder.

    My question was coming from trying to make sure I understand your design. I am designing something similar and am trying to juggle inductor size for switching frequency. Getting >=2mH of inductance in an off-the-shelf inductor seems to be challenging.
