Hello,

I am using HV Motor control kit for Sensored control of Permanent Magnet Motor. Motor is same as the one used in the kit app note.

The issue is the target gets disconnected once the applied DC voltage to the kit exceeds 100V. I am getting error as shown in image below.

I checked the FTDI drivers and updated them.

Below 100V, it is working fine in both current and speed loop.

After the occurrence of error, debugging code again establishes connection with target.

It would be really helpful if anybody could shed light upon it.

This disconnection was induced by disturbance from power supply. Which JTAG emulator were you using? JP1 on HV-Kit or the isolation J1 on controlCard? Please try to use the isolation emulator if the controlCard has the connection, and it's better to use a AC/DC source as power supply and add a magnetic ring on the line of emulator.

Hi Yanming,

Thanks for the suggestion. I used JP1 on HV-kit. Used magnetic ring on the line and changed the emulator.

It worked.
