Hi Sir:

      We use the TMS320F2808 for motordrive is OK,and for cost down. we want to use TMS320F28035 P2P 2808.no other changes.but We find that Deal with trigonometric function There is a huge difference.We used Look-up table method.but test that. Deal with trigonometric onec the 2808 about 0.8us  but the 28035 about 8us. Why?  Is there a way to solve it?.  And We do not want to use CLA.

    how are you profiling the code,

    If you are using F2808 100MHz you will see some degradation when you move to F28035 because it is 60MHz,

    But not a 10x performance degradation as you are reporting above.

    make sure you have compiler settings comparable between the two processors
