CCS/TMS320F28375D: Using CCS to set Z1-BOOTCTRL isn't working

Look like you have not clicked on the program button after inputting the value in the Z1-BOOTCTRL field. Please click on that and that should program the value in OTP location.

I'm not sure I understand. How would I check the address and registers if the debugger wasn't attached after programming? (and yes it's not set to load symbols only).

Can you post the snapshot of the CCS GUI, you are using, to program BOOTCTRL field.

Some of the fields showing value as "--" which does not look correct. Can you check for update in CCS and install the latest update and try this again? To check for update, click on "Help -> Check for Updates"

I'm using CCS 7.4.0.00015. It's the newest.

So you do not see any update available for this one ?

You should be able to program the security setting from flash plug-in GUI (the way you are doing). We all are doing this and it works. When you open the GUI, it should populate all the fields with correct value and should not have "--" there. If you see values as "--" that means device is not setup properly. Are you getting any error/warning when you launch the CCS and try to connect to device in CCS ? You can check the console window for all the errors and warnings.

No issues other than setting the OTP fields. Debugger works great. Should I set all the other fields to FFFFFFFF?

No, you don't need to set the values to 0xFFFFFFFF. Values should get populated by tool automatically. I have to download this version of CCS and check it. Will get back to you in couple of days.

I tried this version of CCS and do not see any issue. Have you selected the correct device while making the Target Configuration file. Can you post the sanapshot of Target configuration file?
