CCS/tms320f28034: C2000 update. Incorrect mailbox data reading (Linux)

Part Number: TMS320F28034

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Tested with xds100V2, 

Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS CCS 7.4.0.00015  C2000 4.2.4.0

Ubuntu 15.04  CCS 6.2.0 C2000 4.2.4.0

This code was written 5 years ago and works correctly until december ubdates ))) (OS and CCS was updated)

    Please provide more details. "Incorrect mailbox data reading" does not say much.

    Did you compare the firmware from prior to the updates to the one after the updates to check if anything changed in the COFF file?

    Have you tried programming the "old" firmware into a "failing" device to isolate the problem between the device and the firmware?

    Are there multiple devices exhibiting this problem with the new firmware?

    1) Ok

    2) It's not hardware cos i'm tried to flash correctly working device (serially manufactured and tested with old .hex)
