Hi,

I am having some issues to tune the eSMO with different cable length for motor. I want to know how what is the rule of thumb to tune eSMO with respect to Rs and Ls value ?

    Unfortunately there is no rule of thumb, you will need to know the resistance and inductance of the cable and figure out the resultant Rs and Ls of the system for different cable lengths before chaning the eSMO parameters. If you know the motor Rs and Ls, you can try and ballpark the resultant value, but other than that there is no suggestions for figuring out the effect of different cable length on Ls and Rs
