RTOS/TMS320F28069: TIMER interrupt frequency is limited with 40 Khz ?

Hello ,

I am using TMS320F28069 with SYS/BIOS and i configure just one timer. And its period 20 microsec. But when i toggle a pin i see the frequency 40 Khz. I try HWI ePwm1 and result is same.The code running from flash.

But I run Example_2806xEPwmTimerInt.c on the RAM and I config its frequency 100 Khz and it was worked. I am very confused . Can you help me please??

Hi,

20us is rather quick. Take a look at this page processors.wiki.ti.com/.../BIOS_for_the_28x and specifically at the .pdf in the "Plugging Interrupts for Use Outside the SYS/BIOS Interrupt Dispatcher" section. It shows up to set up a timer that runs at a fast rate.

Hi ,

I add my code following lines and now ISR running at 200 Khz but in the ISR I'm just toggling a pin. What is the maximum frequency of an ISR?

Am I missing something?
