I’m using PM_sensorless provided in controlSuite.

I tried to do a Level 1 Build and the imported Graph.graphProp to test the svpwm. But It does not work as expected ( see the screen shot below).

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Could you please post the "Graph Properies" to show your setting? Or you may refer to the guide (data_log.pdf ) to set the properties of time graph for these variables. The guide can be found in the folder as below, the guide can be also used for F2806x though it's for F2803x.

The graph properties should be correct. You may enable silicon real-time mode in CCS debug, and enable continuous refresh in graph window. Confirm the connection setting of datalog is as below, and set EnableFlag to 1. The graph tool should work well if you didn't change anything on the original project in controlSUITE.

That's exactly what I did by folowing the pdf file provided (Sensorless FOC of PMSMS.pdf). But the graph is not working well !

What should be the minimum DC voltage? I'm working with 14V for DC voltage.

The 14V input is ok per DRV8301's specification. The h/w board recommend 24V~48V input. You may clean, rebuild and download project, I have tested the project on the DRV8301 kit, that's ok. Please make sure that the build configuration is "DRV8301_F2806x_RAM" and the target configuration is right for XDS100 emulator and F28069, and please also make sure that the controlCARD is TMS320F28069, not TMS320F28069M.

All these specifications are correts. The control card is F2806x ISO

That's strange. Maybe, you may use PWMDAC to check if the the output of SVGEN is correct or graph tool works since the kit can support PWMDAC function.
And you may try click "Reset the Graph" first, and then click "Enable Continuous Refresh" in graph tool.

Hi,

Indeed, it's very strange.

No way to get the expected graph.

I also tried the PWMDAC test points with out success.

I'm deadlocked.

Agree with this post, what CCS version and C compiler were you using? There maybe something wrong with the configuration in your project. I have tested these projects with both CCS7.3 and CCS6.1.1, these projects work well.

I finally fixed the problem by changing the compiler version in code Comper.
