CCS/TMS320F28377S: C2000 Uniflash verify function

Uniflash verifies the contents of the flash against the binary file provided. It doesn't reset the CPU PC register.

I just want to what uniflash exactly do to C2000 for verify like send what command or trigger what code run in C2000, because my customer find when use their boot code to program app code to FLASH, it must need Uniflash "verify", than everything can run, it is very strange, so we want to know its reason.

Thanks! So standalone just reset the device? Because we try power down and than power up device, but it still cannot run, but if verify by uniflash, it can run, so I want to know what detail for verify do in uniflash.

Joe,

A standalone verification step itself does not do a reset.

But if you were not connected to the device when you invoke the verification, it would run through the OnConnect() GEL command. Looking at the gel file for TMS320F28377S (f28377s.gel in \deskdb\content\TICloudAgent\win\ccs_base\emulation\gel\ folder), it looks like it does a reset in the OnConnect() function. Maybe that is why your program is running correctly after a verification.
