F28M36P63C2: software reset detect from control side

I am attempting to check the last reset condition from the C28 side of the concerto. There is the CRESC register specifically.

In my code I cause a software reset on the M3 which is detected by the M3 successfully. When I kick off the C28 after this reset condition it is not detected by the C28.

Is that how this works or will I need to use IPC to tell the C28 the last reset condition.

Hi,

Reset issued by M3 will not be captured in CRESC register of C28x. There are only limited flag in this register. You need to use IPC method to pass this information from M3 to C28x.

That's what I figured. Can I have the M3 reset the C28 and detect it in that register or another register?
