I am interested in TIDM-HV-1PH-DCAC. I am wondering how the output can be DC and for what reason to supply this sellection.

Hongjie,

The only reason for the output to be DC is for tuning purpose it is easier to measure the frequency response under DC.

Also while bringing up a new board, the issues can be isolated to a limited number of power devices.

It is only for ease of use and tuning purpose,
