TMS320F28062: ABS max rating for input clamp current

Hello

The data sheet says abs. max. input clamp current is +/- 20mA, but according to the note continuous current is +/-2mA.   What is allowable time for +/-5mA clamp current?

    The +/- 20 mA is total for the entire device, while the +/-2 mA is the per pin rating. Any continuous current above 2 mA on a single pin is within the region where the pin structure itself will begin to break down. We cannot guarantee any operation of the device if a single pin exceeds 2 mA.
