F28M35E20B: Will Stellaris bootloader prevent writing to non-existing RAM?

The 20B Concerto parts do not have shared RAM. Will the Stellaris bootloader report an invalid address error (0x43) when attempting to write to shared memory? In other words, does the bootloader have awareness of the part's memory configuration?
