TMS320F28379S: The hysteresis setting of CMPSS

Part Number: TMS320F28379S

Hi champs,

According to the TRM, we can set a maximum 4x of typical hysteresis of COMPHYSCTL Register.

My question is that what is the hysteresis voltage of 4x of typical hysteresis setting? Is there any other way to set higher hysteresis voltage?

Please advise your idea if any, thanks for your help.

Regards,

Luke

  • Hi Luke,

Yes, the maximum hysteresis you can set is 4x. Since the hysteresis is specified in compdac lsb. With a 3.3v compdac reference voltage, you are looking at a maximum of about approximately 40mV. If you want higher hysteresis voltage, you might be able to accomplish that using an external feedback configuration, like a schmitt trigger.
