TMS320F28375S: What is the best thing to do with unused pins

Part Number: TMS320F28375S
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F2837

Hi,

we're planning to use TMS320F2837 for our development purposes. I have one question regarding the schematic/layout preferences for the unused pins. Datasheet says unused GPIO pins can be left open (output with internal pull-up disabled)/ input mode with internal pull-up enabled. Wanted to understand what is the best thing to do? Is it ok to set those as output pins and leave it open to avoid so many connections and components on board?

Also, what about unused address pins,DQM pins from EMIF & unused PWM/Quadrature encoder module pins. can these also simply left open?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regards
