Dear all,

I have two questions to ask about SDFM:
1. After SDFM is enabled, the data is being updated. When reading “SDDATA”, will there be a conflict, for example, the data is being updated while reading?
2. If SDFM uses software start/stop sampling mode, which register is set? Is SDDFPARM.FEN or SDMFILEN?

    Han,

    1) If you make sure to check AFx (Data acknowledge bit) before reading there will not be conflict. Otherwise, there is a possibility of reading metastable data.

    2) SDMFILEN.MFE disables (or) enables all the four filter channel. If you are working on a specific filter channel use SDDFPARM.FEN. Once the filter channel is re-enabled, you need to wait for atleast latency of data filter + 5 SD-Cx clock cycles before you read SDDATA register to ensure you don't read metadata.
