    Hi there,

    According to the datasheet, the EQEP can accept pulse widths as fast as 1/2 SYSCLK (See the eQEP Timing Requirements table in the device datasheet SPRS742) While this is the maximum the module can handle, the signal must be as clean as possible. The signal must also use SYSCLK synchronization as recommended in the device Errata.
