TMS320F280049C: internal oscillator accuracy didn't meet SPEC

Hi Champs,

My customer test TMXF280049M internal oscillator and output it to GPIO. They found out internal oscillator output frequency is 9Mhz. Please see attach waveform. In datasheet, it showed Min value as 9.7Mhz. I didn't see our example code ran oscillator calibration process. Is there any calibration process customer should execute ? Is the calibration process done in BootROM?

There is another idea might be "TMX". Could you please tell me does engineering sample oscillator calibrated before ship out ?

Hi Lisa,

The "TMX" samples of the F280049C did not have the full trim solution for some of the analog modules which include the INTOSC. This was indicated in the errata SPRZ493B. This issues has been fixed and address in the "TMS" released version.
